The Financial Times (FT) published its 2016 Global Masters in Management ranking on 12 September 2016. In an increasingly competitive ranking with a very strong top tier, Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) maintains its strong position in the top five of this leading global MSc ranking.

The 2016 evaluation of RSM’s MSc in International Management indicates that the surveyed 2013 cohort of graduates have done remarkably well in terms of finding a job after graduation: 94 per cent of them have accepted a job offer within three months of completing their programme.  Also, graduates earn on average €73,000 three years after graduation.

Top five global masters in management

This outstanding result shows that RSM’s MSc in International Management programme continues to offer an excellent start to a management career, in the Netherlands and internationally. RSM encourages its students to think globally, not only in regards to the world’s diverging economies and business models, but the broader context in which business operates – societal and environmental.

International trading culture

These conclusions are confirmed by other sources such as RSM’s annual Graduate Placement report, which indicates that employers indeed need to move fast if they want to recruit RSM graduates. RSM MSc graduates are a source of truly international and highly skilled management employees helping to keep the Dutch tradition of an international and trading nation. These results show that RSM continues to perform very well, and that its education strategy provides the right education, connecting well with its students as well as the business community.

RSM’s network

RSM was complimented for its corporate network and career support. One graduate remarked to the FT: “The school’s network was vital in helping me find a job in one of the most prestigious companies worldwide. The company was a corporate partner of RSM so I basically received the job application in my mailbox.”

The full results of the FT Global Masters in Management ranking include other participating Dutch schools and are published today in today’s print and online editions of the Financial Times.
