Professors Justin Jansen and Henk Volberda of Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) have been named Highly Cited Researchers 2015 in the field of economics and business by business information organisation Thomson Reuters, in its survey of the most influential scientists in the world. They are the only two Dutch scholars appearing in this list of 71 scholars.

Thomson Reuters recently published its 2015 list of the most influential researchers in the world, based on frequently cited articles between 2002 and 2012, regarded by Thomson Reuters as 'hot research', research that has affected the future of the discipline. Of those researchers, 19 come from the Erasmus University Rotterdam and Erasmus MC, which means that more highly-cited scholars come from EUR than any other Dutch university in the list, and the Netherlands is in 8th place worldwide.
