Your role 

The aim of the Marketing Manager is to generate market and business insights for all Executive Education programmes and to help translate these to an effective and efficient marketing and sales approach for open and customised. The Marketing Manager is responsible for nurturing strategy to stimulate the brand and growth of the business. The Marketing Manager executes and coordinates communications activities within Executive Education and across various departments. 

Your main tasks

  • Actively collects marketing, customer and competition information. 
  • Based on the market research, provides insights for the development of (new) business opportunities for Open and Customised Programmes 
  • Develops an annual marketing & communication plan and gives input and guidance of sales plans for both Marketing and Sales and LDM’s 
  • Assists in writing the overall marketing and sales strategy for Executive Education 
  • Advises the Director Marketing, Sales and Admissions on online marketing and CRM strategy 
  • Is responsible for day-to-day management of junior marketeer(s) to make sure all marketing activities are executed in time and according to the quality standards 
  • Coordinates the execution of the marketing strategy and campaign development on online, traditional(offline) and CRM channels 
  • Coordinates on all other marketing support and promotional items, also with Programme Managers and Client Engagemnet teams, as needed 

Required qualifications 

  • Master degree or equivalent through experience 
  • Approximately five years work experience in (online) marketing in B2C or B2B markets. Preferably in (higher) education. 
  • Excellent analytical skills 
  • Strong written and oral communicational skills in English and Dutch 
  • Ability to work well both independently and as a team player with multiple groups within Executive Education and across campus in a fast-paced, high-energy environment 
  • Ability to prioritise, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines 
  • Possess strong organisational and effective time management skills, and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Power Point) and CRM (preferably Microsoft Dynamics)

We offer you a salary corresponding to your work experience that fits our salary scale. In addition, you will have 25 holiday days and 12 ADV days per year based on full-time employment, travel cost reimbursement when you work at the office and participation in our collective pension scheme.  Last but not least, this is an opportunity to work in a great work environment where the business and academic world comes together. At the moment we work from home, but this will change to working in the office when possible.
