Job position

The ideal candidate has a background in a professional, hospitality-oriented environment. He/she is a smart thinker with a hands on mentality who understands the need to create a professional home away from home for our demanding and diverse international community. As a leader the manager hospitality & operations motivates and challenges his/her team and is actively seeking to innovate and optimize hospitality, facilities, and operations at RSM.

The Manager Hospitality & Operations reports to the Executive Director Operations, supervises the Office Managers (Dean’s Office) Manager Food & Beverage, Manager Facilities and Manager Reception Desk.

He/she assists the Executive Director Operations in delivering services within the Dean’s Office and Facilities departments. In addition, he/she works closely with Security services, as well as diverse school departments when needed, and is responsible for performing annual assessments and coaching for direct reports.

Aim of the job

As Manager Hospitality & Operations, you are responsible for optimising the daily operations in hospitality, facility and administrative functions. You will oversee hospitality, facility and administrative functions and will develop and implement hospitality & operational policies and procedures. You are responsible of optimally organizing, planning and coordinating the use of RSM facilities, which include the maintenance, renovation, and expansion of Bayle Building, as well as the coordination of accommodations offered by our Housing partner(s). You will be directly involved in the strategic planning for the development of new facilities/building for RSM in support of its ambitious growth plans.


  • Bachelor degree, preferably Hospitality/Facility Management


  • At least five years of experience in a similar position, preferably in an international environment with professional customers/guests
  • Experience with MS Office; other facilities software knowledge is a plus
  • Several years of experience in managing staff
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally) and customer friendly in English and Dutch
  • Strong customer service-orientation

The anticipated hiring range for this specific position is between €3.926 – €5.000 (scale 17) this is based on a fulltime employment. Ranking will be based on education and working experience.  RSM offers excellent secondary benefits with amongst others a fully paid pension by the RSM.
