Job description

The Department of Technology and Operations Management (TOM) at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University Rotterdam seeks candidates to fill a temporary lecturer position in Mathematics, undergraduate level, for Business Administration students. The course is to be taught in Dutch. The appointment is to start 1 July 2019 until 30 November 2019.

Required qualifications

Candidates should preferably have a PhD, relevant teaching qualifications, and a background in mathematics, applied mathematics or related discipline.

Prerequisite Qualifications:

Candidates should (preferably) have a PhD in mathematics, applied mathematics or related discipline with strong research, funding and teaching potential for consideration at the assistant professor level.

Employment Conditions

The conditions of employment comply with the collective labour agreement for Dutch universities (CAO NU). Salary is subject to training and experience, and may vary from

€ 2,709.00 up to €4,274.00 (scale 10,0) gross per month, based on a full-time contract. Erasmus University Rotterdam has attractive employment conditions, which include a holiday allowance of 8 per cent, an end-of-year bonus of 8.3 per cent, and a generous number of vacation days. Favourable tax agreements may apply to non-Dutch applicants.
