Job position

As an Alumni Manager, you will work closely with alumni and academic offices across the university, and engage in direct contact with alumni and current students.

The Alumni Manager is responsible for:

  • coordinating corporate and alumni activities in alignment with the overall strategy of RSM
  • contributing to the planning and delivery of campaigns directed towards RSM’s alumni
  • developing and maintaining an active alumni network to further strengthen the connection with the school
  •  maintaining and enriching the alumni database in support of development, admissions, student engagement and placement
  • building, maintaining, and enhancing relationships between alumni, students and the corporate world
  • aligning alumni services with BSc/MSc/MBA programmes and academic departments
  • formulating value propositions and creating compelling, engaging, and customized communication material
  • assisting in the organising of alumni events, reunions and lectures

The position provides an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic international environment in which initiative and enthusiasm is valued and encouraged. The position is based on maternity leave cover (0.8 FTE), starting August 2019 for a period of six months. 

Candidate profile

We are looking for individuals who thrive in an international and dynamic organisation. To qualify for this position, you should:

  • hold a bachelor degree in marketing, communications, hospitality management or equivalent
  • have two to five years of experience in a client service/commercial environment
  • have skills in online marketing (content, e-mail, social media, mobile)
  • have experience with customer relations tools (e.g. Microsoft CRM)
  • be fluent in English
  • be an excellent networker
  • be flexible and willing to work (on occasion) outside of regular business hours


The hiring salary range for this specific position is between € 3200 - € 4000 (scale 15), based on a fulltime employment). RSM offers excellent secondary benefits, including a fully paid pension by the RSM BV.
