Alumni achievement award nominee
Facilitating knowledge exchange and increasing funding for non-profits
Elena Avramenko is a serial entrepreneur who creates social enterprises that make a positive impact on different parts of society. She is co-founder of The Time Donors, a platform changing the way how professionals do volunteering. It connects people’s skills and volunteering initiatives. Experts can provide advice and share their experience in exchange for a donation to a non-profit of the expert's choice.
The Time Donors purely facilitates knowledge exchange and increases funding for other non-profits without a transaction fee. This contributes to personal leadership development and professional advancement of the users on both sides, and allows people to give back to society.
Elena’s first start-up in Ukraine, before the RSM EMBA, was about digitalisation of primary education. She’s also working on a circular economy start-up Razrez, which upcycles companies’ materials left from production or promotion.
Nominator Laurence Anjoras, an RSM alumna who met Elena through MentorWE, says Elena is an ‘incredible businesswoman’. “She shares her passion for social enterprise, technology insights, professional and personal knowledge with no other purpose than advancing and supporting fellow entrepreneurs in their quest of achieving their goals,” Laurence said.
