MBA1999 Scholarship

MBA1999 Scholarship

The fifteenth annual reunion of the MBA Class of 1999 brought back great memories and strong emotions about the MBA experience. In fact, the class decided that the experiences – and the memories – were so good that they would create a scholarship so others could experience the same.

Contribute to a scholarship

The class of 1999 raises funds to provide a scholarship for a highly talented and strongly motivated student from a country with an emerging economy to participate in the International Full-time MBA programme at RSM. The first scholarship will be awarded in January 2016. The MBA class of 1999, which numbers 158, aims to raise € 30, 000 every year by 2019, when they will celebrate their 20-year reunion.

You can help the MBA class of 1999 to create an MBA opportunity for a deserving student from an emerging economy by donating to the fund.

A team experience that changes lives

The RSM International Full-time MBA is a ‘pressure cooker experience’ for people from many different backgrounds, and becomes a team experience that can change lives. The MBA1999 Scholarship has been established partly to express how highly alumni of the MBA class of 1999 value their own experiences and knowledge from RSM’s MBA programme.

The first-ever class generated scholarship

This scholarship is the first-ever class-generated funding initiative at Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR), and is supported by the Erasmus Trustfonds, a non-profit foundation which supports EUR. Funds raised by the MBA alumni will be managed by the foundation by agreement with a committee of representatives from the MBA class of 1999 and RSM. Donations made to this foundation are classed as deductible for those that pay tax in the Netherlands.

The MBA class of 1999 is represented by Steven Tan and Nityen Lal. If you would like to be a part of this initiative or if you have any questions, please contact Steven -  or Nityen -
