Curious about the future of the dredging industry?

Then come to the symposium ‘Future of the Dredging Industry’ on Thursday November 29, 2018 at the Erasmus Pavilion in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Scientists and speakers from the sector will share their vision on the future of the Dutch and Belgian dredging industry. As a (division) director, owner, entrepreneur or innovation manager working in the dredging industry you should not miss this opportunity to attend this event.

During the symposium, Jan van den Ende, Professor of Management and Technology at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM), presents the results of the study entitled ‘The Future of the Dredging Industry’. This research describes the importance and dynamics of this unique cluster from a business perspective.

In addition, various speakers from the industry will give their opinion. For example, Dave van der Heyde (CEO of Royal IHC) shall outline his vision of the cluster from the perspective of a innovative dredging vessel and dredge equipment provider.  Paul Verheul (COO of Van Oord) will join and provide Van Oords vision of the future, from the perspective of a tier 1 contractor and dredger equipment operator.

The study is being carried out by the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University with advice from the ‘Vereniging van Waterbouwers’, IADC and Netherlands Maritime Technology (NMT).
