Alumni from the MSc programme Global Business & Sustainability GBS are cordially invited to this year's programme event

For the past 20 years, The Global Business & Sustainability (GBS) MSc programme has been a leading force for positive change. Today, the alumni community forms a vivid and lively network consisting of more than 700 international professionals making a positive societal impact.

On August 19th of this year, 181 CEOs of leading US Firms announced the release of a new Statement on the Purpose of a Corporation. In this statement, the CEOs committed to shift their companies away from shareholder primacy, and to lead their companies for the benefit of all stakeholders – customers, employees, suppliers, communities and shareholders.

Please join RSM Professor of Stakeholder Management Flore Bridoux for a discussion and debate on the role of organizations in ‘fixing’ capitalism. What are the tangible implications of the Business Roundtable statement; can it live up to its promise? How can corporations serve the interests of stakeholders at large – or can they?

We would be delighted if you would join us for the following programme:

  • 18:00 - 19:00 Registration and buffet dinner
  • 19:00 - 20:00 Plenary Lecture & debate: “Can corporations ‘fix’ capitalism?"
  • 20:00 - 20:15 GBS as a Force for Positive change for 20 years
  • 20:15 - 21:30 Career Speed Dating & Networking drinks
