Description

SDG9 - Industry, Innovation and Infastructure

Tuesday 11 February

Continuing our series of knowledge and networking events based on the role of business in achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

With so much focus on – and progress in – innovation, why is industry so slow to adopt these new and better technologies? Wouldn’t faster adoption be the best way to speed up solving the world’s grand challenges?

What’s stopping us?

You are warmly invited to our exclusive masterclass, from 18:30 on Tuesday 11 February 2020 at Rotterdam School of Management Erasmus University in Rotterdam.

There are two presentations before our open discussion; the first from an expert practitioner working at the forefront of innovation in industry – Meiny Prins, CEO of Priva, a family business that supplies building control systems. The second presentation is from an academic with a cross-disciplinary background in industrial engineering, economics and management: Dr Ying Zhang, associate professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Chinese Economy and Business at RSM.
