  • Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Year 12 Certificate: a minimum of B (High Standard of Achievement) for grade average AND mathematics
  • New South Wales Higher School Certificate: a minimum of Distinction for grade average AND mathematics
  • Queensland Certificate of Education: a minimum of B (high achievement) for grade average AND mathematics
  • South Australia and Northern Territory Certificate of Education:  a minimum of B for grade average AND mathematics
  • Tasmanian Certificate of Education: minimum of CA (Commendable achievement) for grade average AND mathematics
  • Victorian Certificate of Education: a minimum of B for grade average AND mathematics

China: Senior Middle School Graduation Certificate (Gaozhong)

  • Gaozhong: minimum average grade of 80/100 or 120/150 AND
  • GaoKao: minimum score 500 (exceptions: 300 for applicants from the Jiangsu province; 420 for applicants from Shanghai province; 650 for applicants from Hainan province. (Applicants who are exempted from the Gaokao must provide an official statement: baosong)) AND  preferably at least one year of university education (at a recognised institution) 
  • Mathematics minimum grade of 80/100 or 120/150 AND IBA mathematics exam
  • English language test
  • Applicants who do not meet these requirements will be placed in the lower tiers of the ranking

  • Mathematics minimum grade of 7.0 (minimum 5 hours) or a minimum grade of 8.0 for mathematics (minimum 3 hours) 
  • Applicants who do not meet the mathematics requirement may choose to take the IBA mathematics exam.
  • English minimum grade of 7.0 for English (Language 1 or 2). All other applicants are required to take an English language test
  • Applicants who do not meet these requirements will be placed in the lower tiers of the ranking

  • Applicants who do not meet these requirements will be placed in the lower tiers of the ranking

  • Mathematics minimum grade of B+ for pre-calculus AND IBA mathematics exam (Exemption  for students who have taken the College Board exam AP Calculus AB or BC, minimum score of 4). SAT and ACT are not accepted. 
  • English minimum grade of B+ English language test (optional)
  • Applicants who do not meet these requirements will be placed in the lower tiers of the ranking
