The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Indonesia, Nuffic Southeast Asia along with the collaborating Dutch universities: Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, University of Amsterdam, Utrecht University, Leiden University and Erasmus University Rotterdam, invite alumni from Dutch universities to attend an evening of academic discussion and networking in Jakarta.

The keynote lecture and Q&A, presented by Professor José van Dijck, will address the topic, How to govern digital societies? A geopolitical perspective on digital infrastructures and democracy.
José van Dijck is a distinguished university professor at Utrecht University and is the former president of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences. She received an honorary doctorate from Lund University, and in 2021 she was awarded the Spinoza Prize, the highest academic award in Dutch academia.
