Every organisation’s most important resource for innovation is its people so we will explore Human Resources in depth.
Excellent innovation requires systematic processes and governance systems to guide individual projects and portfolios of projects in order to move beyond ad hoc projects.
A sustainable innovation competence requires organisational cultures based on innovation and entrepreneurship values.
I want to drive and sustain innovation within our organisation. Through this programme I learnt that building a social network with people who embrace this vision is extremely important (and how to do this), but I also learned that the government should focus more on exploration of innovation in addition to exploitation.
During The Essentials of Innovation for Governments Programme you will learn from Prof. Justin Jansen, Dr Ferdinand Jaspers and Prof. Tom Mom. This programme brings in top academics from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) and international partner universities. It is organised by the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship. There are many more internationally renowned academic leaders and practitioners.
There’s no selection procedure for this programme. The only requirement is that you work for a public organisation in a role that is related to innovation management.
The Essentials of Innovation for Governments comprises three consecutive days in the classroom.
Sessions start at 09:00, but you can join us each morning from 08:30 for a light breakfast. The day ends at 17:30. The programme has one day with a late finish at 20:00, which includes dinner.
€ 3,500 (excl. VAT) for the three-day programme, and includes the ECE Corporate Entrepreneurship Scan, all course materials, refreshments, lunches and one group dinner.
