Information session on 14 May for updated Business Valuation programme

An updated version of the popular RSM Diploma Programme in Advanced Business Valuation at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) will be introduced at an information session on campus on Monday 14 May. The four-module executive education programme explores how to measure and manage value, and can help those working in business controlling or financial services to apply valuation skills in strategic, financial and operational decisions for corporate strategy, M&A and capital investments.

The updated and improved programme is taught by two RSM professors. Renowned expert Prof. Marc Goedhart, is endowed professor of Corporate Valuation at RSM and a senior expert in McKinsey's Amsterdam office, and co-author of Valuation: Measuring and Managing the Value of Companies. Prof. Erik Peek is professor of business analysis and valuation at RSM and co-author of Business Analysis and Valuation: IFRS Edition.

The programme starts in September 2018 with three four-day modules before the end of the year, and a final four-day module in the first part of 2019. The information session from 18:30-20:30 on 18] May will explain what participants can expect during the diploma-level study, and how an optional track of two extra modules (taught in Dutch) leads to the additional official title of Register Valuator.

Measuring and managing value can give a decisive edge over competitors. Philip Eskenazi, the programme’s director said: “RSM has been leading business valuation education since launching the first programme in the Netherlands in 1995. The topic is more relevant than ever, and the time was right to modernise and improve the programme.”
