‘Hot Research' by RSM researchers

Two researchers from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) are regarded as ‘hot researchers’ in the list survey by Thomson Reuters of the most influential scientists in the world.



Justin Jansen, professor of Corporate Entrepreneurship, and Henk Volberda, professor of Strategic Management & Business Policy, are among the best and brightest scientific minds of our time, according to Thomson Reuters. In the field of economics and business, they have produced work that is most frequently acknowledged by peers.

Thomson Reuters recently published the list of the most influential researchers in the world, based on frequently cited articles between 2002 and 2012. This is regarded by Thomson Reuters as 'hot research', research that has affected the future of the discipline.

In the list with a total of 3215 researchers there are fifteen researchers from the Erasmus University Rotterdam and Erasmus MC. Within the Netherlands, EUR is the best ranked university. In total there are 81 Dutch researchers in the list of Thomson Reuters. With that number, the Netherlands is in eighth place worldwide.
