Dr Marc Baaij
Marc Baaij is an Associate Professor of strategic management at RSM. Marc's research interests include: multinational corporations' decision-making about the home country of corporate headquarters; persistency of superior financial performance of corporations; analytical methods and techniques for problem-solving; and management consulting in general. Marc's teaching focuses on the analytical problem-solving methods and techniques of top management consulting firms. Read more

Prof. Justin Jansen
Justin Jansen is a professor of corporate entrepreneurship at RSM. He received his PhD cum laude from Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2005. His research addresses strategic leadership, organisational learning and absorptive capacity, organisational ambidexterity, and corporate entrepreneurship. He has appeared in academic journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Management Studies, Leadership Quarterly, Management Science and Organization Science. Dr Tom Mom
Tom Mom is an associate professor of strategic entrepreneurship at RSM. He obtained a PhD in strategic management and a master degree in strategic management (cum laude) from RSM. He is the academic director of RSM's Parttime Master in Business Administration, and the Erasmus Executive Programme in Strategic Management. His research interests include new business development and corporate entrepreneurship, ambidexterity, and strategic renewal. Tom is also active in research and advisory projects for companies and governments in areas such as new business development, innovation, strategy, and corporate headquarters. Read more

Dr René Olie
René Olie is an associate professor of strategic and international management at RSM. After obtaining a master degree in organisational psychology at VU University Amsterdam, he received his PhD training at the University of Maastricht under leadership of Professor Geert Hofstede, a world-renowned expert in national cultures. This laid the foundation for a broad interest in the field of international and comparative management including research topics such as how companies can achieve optimal integration in their cross-border operations while dealing with many national and cultural challenges. Prof. Hans van Oosterhout
Hans van Oosterhout is a professor of corporate governance and responsibility at RSM. His research is in comparative corporate governance, involving comparisons between various national corporate governance systems, as well as comparisons between different forms of enterprise organisations. His current research focuses on how jurisdiction level institutions shape the respective role of owners and executives in publicly listed firms, and on the corporate governance challenges and practices of professional partnerships, family firms, and philanthropic organisations. Prof. Patrick Reinmoeller
Patrick Reinmoeller is an associate professor of strategic management at RSM and a chaired professor of strategic management at Cranfield University’s School of Management in the UK. Patrick teaches in customised executive programmes and MBA and executive MBA courses on strategic management, competitive strategy, knowledge management and strategies of multinational corporations. Patrick has taught executive programmes to GlaxoSmithKline, KPN, Schlumberger, Interpipe and other major companies in various industries. Read more

Dr Jatinder Sidhu
Jatinder Sidhu is an associate professor of strategic management at RSM. He completed his undergraduate work at the Delhi School of Economics in India, and obtained an MSc in management sciences at the University of Hull in the UK. Since his appointment as academic director of RSM’s MSc in Strategic Management programme, student enrolments have more than doubled. He earned his PhD at the Tinbergen Institute at the Erasmus School of Economics. Read more

Dr Arjen Slangen
Arjen Slangen is an associate professor of international business at RSM. His research focuses on how multinationals' internationalisation strategies and foreign activities are affected by institutional factors. His work has been published in leading international journals such as the Journal of International Business Studies and the Journal of Management Studies. He currently serves on the editorial review boards of the Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Studies, and Journal of World Business, among others. He completed his PhD at Tilburg University in 2005. He has also been a visiting scholar at the University of South Carolina. Read more

Prof. Henk Volberda
Henk Volberda is a professor of strategic management and business policy; director of knowledge transfer of the Department of Strategic Management & Entrepreneurship at RSM; and scientific director of INSCOPE. He has been a visiting scholar at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and City University Business School in London. Henk obtained his doctorate in business administration cum laude at the University of Groningen. His research on organisational flexibility and strategic change received several awards. Read more

Dr Vareska van de Vrande
Vareska van de Vrande is an associate professor of strategic management at RSM. She holds an MSc and PhD (2007) in industrial engineering and management science from Eindhoven University of Technology. Vareska’s research focuses on several aspects of corporate entrepreneurship, such as the use of different organisational forms for external technology sourcing, corporate venture capital investments, strategic alliances, joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions. Dr Frank Wijen
Frank Wijen is an associate professor of strategic management at RSM. He holds a PhD in management from Tilburg University, where he also worked as a senior researcher. Frank’s research interests include institutional processes, globalisation, power and influence, organisational learning, and corporate and national environmental management. Frank has published in journals such as Academy of Management Review, California Management Review and Organization Science, and was the leading editor of A handbook of globalisation and environmental policy (2012). He is an editorial board member of the Academy of Management Review. Read more
