Right now, young entrepreneurs focused on sustainable innovations will be putting their best ideas forward for the I Will Award 2020. It’s a top-level business competition run by RSM that really tests and challenges talented teams from the RSM community, and the live final will be in February 2020.
Only once every two years
What you might not know is that the I WILL Award is an opportunity for businesses to get closely involved with some of the most entrepreneurial of RSM’s students. Our shortlisted finalists will have already achieved a high standard in their business pitches. Whereas businesses can get involved with RSM students in lots of ways, this opportunity to work closely with our shortlisted I WILL Award contestants is an opportunity that comes around only once every two years.
Previous winners have proved themselves to be confident and assured in the live final, pitching their own business ideas.
In the past, our I WILL Award competition has inspired the RSM community to develop their best ideas into projects that have the potential to create positive change in every sector. The 2018 competition resulted in two winners chosen from the six shortlisted finalists. Boxrs4ALL donates underwear to someone in Tanzania for every pair of their boxer shorts sold, and Juvoo is a digital administration buddy for healthcare professionals. These two start-ups both won €15,000 to put their inspiring idea into action. Juvoo also won the audience prize of €2,000.
Thom Uildriks from Boxrs4All made use of the training we provided to go on to win the National Championship Pitching 2018.
RSM has a top 10 position in the Financial Times (FT) European Business School ranking. RSM’s MBA programme is 14th in Europe and our MSc in International Management takes 8th position worldwide. Our rankings attract the most ambitious international students.
