BigBlueButton

An open source web conferencing system for online learning. BigBlueButton enables you to share documents (PDF and any office document), webcams, chat, audio and your desktop

Grademark (part of Turnitin)

GradeMark makes it possible to edit and grade student papers online by adding comments within the paper.

Kahoot

With Kahoot you can create multiple choice questions and add videos, images and diagrams. You can use Kahoot to create quizzes, discussions, or surveys.

Learning Catalytics

Learning Catalytics allows teachers to send questions to their students, which they can answer on their mobile devices.

MapleTA

Maple T.A is an online testing and assessment system, especially designed for quantitative content.

Mentimeter

Mentimeter is an audience response system using smartphones. When you sign up on the web you can log in and write questions you want to ask in class.

Mindmarker

Mindmarker is an online training reinforcement tool in the form of a mobile app that prompts learners by sending them reinforcement messages at predetermined times.

MyMediaSite (Dutch only)

MyMediaSite allows teachers to record their own desktop and upload their results for future uses.

Peermark (part of Turnitin)

Peermark is a tool designed to help students assess each other’s work. Students can read, review, and evaluate papers submitted by other students.

Shakespeak

Shakespeak allows you to use polls or quizzes during your lectures. The students can answer your question via SMS, internet or Twitter.

Tricider

Tricider is an online polling and voting tool, which is free to use without any registration. 

Turnitin

Turnitin is the leading plagiarism scanner with other functionalities such as online feedback and grading tools built in as well.
