The BIM Honours Programme offers the most talented and motivated students in the MSc BIM program a challenging extracurricular course in BIM research and practice. Participation is by invitation only. Selected students are the best performing students of the MSc in BIM programme. The small group size ensures that students have ample opportunities for interaction with faculty members and participating companies.
The course will cover different topics selected by BIM faculty and practitioners. We will organize four “academic sessions” covering two topics with two sessions on each topic, and four “practitioner sessions” in the form of “Frontiers in BIM” seminars. Attendance is compulsory for all 8 sessions.
Only the highest performing BIM MSc students will be invited to participate in the Honours Programme. The ranking criteria will be based on the grades for all core courses (only the original grades; grades for the resits are not considered). The top-ranked students will be invited to send in their CV and a motivation letter. An internal committee will select the final participants based on the CV, motivation letter, and possibly an individual interview.
Students who successfully participate in all sessions and complete the assignments with a pass will:
- Have “Honours Programme MSc Business Information Management” included on the formal list of grades that accompanies the MSc diploma with a “Pass” for 10 EC (extracurricular);
- Receive the certificate “Honours Programme MSc Business Information Management” signed by all participating professors.
