Do I have to pay a handling fee?

All applicants who have earned their diploma outside of the Netherlands, pay a handling fee of €100 upon submitting their application. The Online Application Form will automatically determine whether you are required to pay the fee or not. This fee can be paid online using the Erasmus Payment System. This system offers applicants the possibility to pay using either iDEAL (for those with a Dutch bank account) or PayPal (which can be linked to any bank account or credit card worldwide). It is important that applicants complete the payment process as indicated, otherwise the system cannot register the payment. The fee is non-refundable. Applications without successful payment of the fee cannot be submitted and will therefore not be processed.

Can I pay the handling fee by bank transfer?

If you want to pay the handling fee via a bank transfer, you must provide the RSM Admissions Office with a proof of payment so that we can manually adjust your payment status in OLAF. The bank account details can be found in OLAF in the handling fee section.

We also accept payment via credit card without using PayPal. The transaction costs for these payments is 2,95% with a minimum of 35 cents. This is cheaper than the PayPal-Credit card option, which is 3,9% + 35 cents.

Do I have to pay a deposit upon accepting my offer?

RSM would ideally like to hear your reply to our offer of admission within 2 weeks of receiving the results. You can accept the offer of admission first, and later on if you change your mind you can simply notify RSM by email that you want to decline or defer the offer of admission. There is no deposit that you pay when accepting the offer, so there are no repercussions if you change your reply.
