Apply the wealth of knowledge you gain in the programme to an actual problem within a company during an internship at an organisation. RSM’s extensive corporate network will give you ample opportunity to get a taste of working life anywhere from one of the world’s largest multinational companies to a fast-growing start-up. Internships are an invaluable part of learning, and are completed at a professional first-job level. Many students acquire their first job from the contacts they make during their internship.
An internship is an optional element in the programme and can be done during the Thesis semester (July – August) or after you have finished all the curriculum components of the Master in Management programme (including thesis). Based on your insights from the course ‘Your Future Career’ you can also actively acquire an internship which specifically takes into account your background knowledge. We recommend, especially for Master in Management students, to broaden your perspective and also look at internships as they are offered by international companies outside the Netherlands (e.g. Germany or US).
Our team at Career Services will be able to advise you on how to incorporate an internship into your programme and on how to give you full support on finding an internship. Please visit our Career Services website to find an overview of internships readily available.
