My GMAT score is lower than the minimum requirement set by RSM. Can I still apply?

Applicants who submit a GMAT score which does not meet the minimum requirement of 600 set by RSM will not be considered for admission. You can take the test again, but the new score must be submitted by the application deadline,or before the programme has reached maximum capacity (whichever occurs first).

RSM will only consider the highest score obtained. A previous lower score will not have a negative effect on your application.

Can I submit application and upload the results of my GMAT exam later?

Yes, you can submit your application first and complete your application package later with the results of your GMAT exam, however, please note that the RSM Admissions Office must receive the results of your GMAT exam (and all other applicable exams) no later than the application deadline for the programme you applied for or before the programme has reached maximum capacity (whichever occurs first). When filling in the on-line application form, indicate the date you plan to take the exam.

For the MSc International Management/CEMS programme, the GMAT scores must be submitted by the application deadline of 31 January.

Keep in mind that without a complete application - including the results of all standardised tests, you will not be able to receive an offer of admission and no place in the programme will be reserved for you. The RSM Admissions Office can however, assess your academic background and provide you with feedback while waiting for the results of the GMAT.

Does RSM offer GMAT fee waivers?

For the application season 2020 (starting in October 2019) RSM has obtained 10 GMAT fee waivers. These are given to eligible applicants on request and of first come first served basis. Candidates must provide the fee waiver code when they register for their GMAT appointment. In order to apply for the GMAT waiver complete the following steps:

  1. Write a brief motivation statement explaining why you think you should be granted a GMAT waiver.
  2. Upload the motivation statement to the online application form (OLAF) instead of a GMAT score.
  3. Complete and submit your application.
  4. RSM will evaluate your application. If you are eligible for admission, there are still waivers left and there is enough time to take the exam before the application deadline of the programme you are applying to, we will send you a waiver.
