Start a career in Europe - the Dutch visa policy

How the Dutch 1-year search visa helps you start a career in Europe

88 percent of our students accepted an offer within three months after graduation. 4 out of 5 of these graduates found a job in the Netherlands. This shows that RSM MBA is a great way to start a career in Europe. Why is this?

Part of this can be explained by the Dutch visa policy, one of the best in the world. First of all, when you decide to study with us, you come in on an 18-month student visa. Interestingly, our Full-time MBA only spans 12 months, so you can stay an extra 6 months after the programme ends, on that same student visa.

After you graduate, you are then automatically granted a 1-year job search visa. This allows you to stay in the country and find a job in the Netherlands or other European countries during that period. This is a guaranteed visa, so no lottery! And you don't need to activate the visa immediately: you can enact it up to three years after graduation.

We can imagine you have many more questions, about your career after MBA, financing the programme and what it is like to live in the Netherlands. Please get in touch with our Admissions Managers to start the conversation, or to get your CV assessed.
