Profile

Dr. Shahzad Ansari is Assistant Professor of Strategic Management at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University and Visiting Research Associate at the Judge, Business School, University of Cambridge. He received his PhD, in December, 2004, titled; Essays on: “The Making of a Market - Resources, Technologies and Social Construction: Insights from Mobile Communications” as a Gates Cambridge Trust scholar from the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. His supervisors were Dr Kamal Munir and Professor Nelson Phillips. Shahzad was selected to attend the 42nd Annual International Achievement Summit in Washington, DC, where 200 outstanding students from 44 countries interacted with the world's leaders in public affairs, business, science and the arts. During his PhD he was involved in various Executive Education Programs and also worked as a researcher on a project studying the social dynamics of technological transformations, sponsored by the Cambridge-MIT Institute. Shahzad holds an M Phil, an MBA and a Bachelors degree in Engineering. He also has experience in the industry. He is currently involved in teaching International Business Strategy, Competition in an international context, Strategic Sourcing and International Trade.
