I WILL Award of €15,000 to support positive change

All students, alumni, staff and faculty members at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) can now submit their great – and tangible – idea for positive change for the I WILL Award competition for a chance to win €15,000 to put their idea into action. Applications will close in January, and the spectacular I WILL Get in the Ring finale will take place in early March, 2018.

I WILL is in the heart of RSM’s mission to be a force for positive change in the world. It shows the spirit and the ambitions of the people of RSM through ambitious statements. More than 10,000 people have created an I WILL statement, showing their willpower and drive for the future.

Putting ambitions into action

The I WILL Award 2018 is the perfect way to start being an agent of positive change, and putting dreams and ambitions into action. Whether it’s a new or existing plan that can be boosted, each plan should be a proof of willpower and must have the potential to become inspirational for the rest of the world and make a real impact in a society or community.

I WILL Get in the Ring

The winning idea will be a plan that can be put into action and will inspire others. The best idea, challenge, business plan or project for implementation will win €15,000 of funding following the spectacular I WILL Get in the Ring event in March 2018, in which six finalists will compete with their pitches in a boxing ring on campus. There will also be an audience prize of €2,000.

Previous winners of the I WILL Award include African weather service Kukua (2016) and mentoring community Dwillo (2014).
