I have submitted my application but I have not received a confirmation email, did something go wrong?

Within two weeks after you have submitted your application form in OLAF, the RSM Admissions Office will let you know if your application is complete. Bear in mind that we receive a large number of applications towards the application deadline; therefore it may take longer than two weeks before you receive a confirmation e-mail. Only complete applications will be considered for admission. For this reason we urge that you do not wait until the last minute to submit your application. If you wait until the last minute, you will have no margin for error. If you apply early (at least 4 weeks before the deadline), some mistakes can still be corrected.

What is the deadline for making my offer unconditional?

When receiving your offer, the conditions of your offer will be listed in the admissions statement. These conditions must be filled before the 31st of August. If the conditions can not be filled by the August deadline, your offer of admission will be revoked and you will not be able to start your studies at RSM. This is a strict deadline and no exceptions will be made.

Can RSM verify my TOEFL, IELTS or Cambridge results online?

Yes, RSM can check your TOEFL, IELTS or Cambridge results online. However, the RSM Admissions Office can only do this if you provide us with your score report during the application process, including the following information:

TOEFL: The institutional code of RSM is 0798 and for Erasmus University 7199 (you can use either). If you have not requested for the score report to be sent to RSM, we can still verify the score directly with TOEFL. Note that the scores can only be verified 2 years from the test date. If your test is older than this, please contact us.

IELTS: In order to verify your IELTS score, RSM needs the code which is written on the bottom right corner of your test report. Always upload your full score report during the application process.

Cambridge: In order for RSM to verify your Cambridge score, you need to add your Cambridge candidate ID number and secret number to your application with your score report. By sharing this information, you give us permission to verify the result. If you do not have the candidate ID and secret number, you must contact the authorized examination centre where the examination was originally taken.

When will I be informed of the results of my application?

There is a rolling admissions process for all MSc programmes with the exception of the MSc International Management/CEMS (IM-CEMS) and Finance & Investments - Advanced programmes. This means that complete applications will be reviewed upon receipt. You will be notified of the outcome within four weeks following the receipt of your completed application (this could increase to 6 weeks close to the application deadlines). If you have not heard the results within this time, don't hesitate to contact us.

There is no rolling admission process for the MSc International Management/CEMS or Finance & Investments - Advanced programme. All applications will be reviewed after the application deadline for each programme. Three weeks after the application deadline you will be notified whether you will be invited to participate in the second selection round. After the second selection round you will be notified of the outcome within two weeks. Candidates who meet the minimum admissions requirements for the IM-CEMS programme who are not selected will be offered admission to another MSc programme. Applicants not accepted to the Finance & Investments - Advanced programme will be offered admission to the regular Finance & Investments programme.
