Study Associations

Study Associations

Study associations try to bridge the gap between theory and practice, and organise activities for all students interested in that specific field of study. They often offer discounts on your study books, studyrelated trips (abroad) to interesting companies and social drinks. Every faculty has one study association at least. Some only have one association for the whole faculty, while in other faculties every programme has its own assocation.

With more than 6,500 members, Study Association Rotterdam School of Management (STAR) is Europe’s largest student-run study association, and the most active and professional study association in the Netherlands. STAR brings together RSM’s entire student body to greatly enrich student life with a full line-up of social and career-oriented events held throughout the year. STAR has exceptionally close relations with the corporate world, and regularly invites leaders in international business and politics to meet our students via activities such as the STAR Management Week and the Erasmus Recruitment Days. Visit the STAR website for more information.
