In order to put their advice on a solid basis, Faculty Council representatives conducted confidential one-on-one conversations with over 30 stakeholders at RSM from a broad range of domains, hierarchical levels, genders, and national backgrounds. We shared a summary of these talks with the Rector Magnificus, Professor Huibert Pols, during a dialogue on 24 March 2015. Following the results of these talks, the RSM Faculty Council today gave positive advice on the reappointment of Professor van de Velde as Dean of RSM for another 4 years, while pointing out out a few areas of improvement for a potential second term of the Dean that were suggested repeatedly during the confidential talks with the stakeholders of RSM.
The Faculty Council trusts that the advice and the recommendations will be taken into account by the Executive Board of Erasmus University Rotterdam.
