
Depending on your nationality, you might need an entry visa and / or residence permit for the Netherlands. Entry visa and residence permits are issued by the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND).
Students can only apply for an entry visa and / or residence permit through the university. Only with a valid visa you are allowed to study at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM). So please read this information carefully and apply for the requested documents as soon as possible!
Full-time IBA and MSc students who accepted their offer and have a nationality of one of the following countries: Australia, Canada, Japan, Monaco, New Zealand, South Korea, USA or Vatican State.
Full-time IBA and MSc students who accepted their offer and DO NOT have a nationality of one of the following countries: European Union (EU/EEA), Australia, Canada, Japan, Monaco, New Zealand, South Korea, USA or Vatican State.
If you applied for a full-time Bachelor or Master programme at RSM, accepted the offer AND need an entry visa and/or residence permit, your main point of contact at RSM will be Mrs. Joyce Maliepaard. Please contact her in relation to a visa request by sending her an email: visaBScMSc@rsm.nl.
As from this study year your residence permit is valid for the duration of your study plus three extra months. This means that you do not have to apply for an extension of your residence permit after one year.
Full-time BScIBA and MSc students who accepted their offer and have a nationality from an EU/EEA country do not need to apply for a visa and / or residence permit.

If you are an incoming RSM exchange student AND you need a visa and/or residence permit, your main point of contact at RSM will be Mrs. Ellen van Oeffelen. Please contact her in relation to a visa request by sending her an email: eoeffelen@rsm.nl.
After receiving your e-mail she will send you a visa application factsheet. This factsheet document explains in detail the procedure and tells you which documents we need to receive from you to successfully process your visa application. Please read the documents you receive carefully.
