The Strength of Networking: Enhancing your Career

With the meteoric increase of virtual connections in social media, we must rethink what it means to be authentically connected in the world of work. Dr Karen Stephenson, a pioneer in organisational networks will take you on a day’s journey during The Strength of Networking: Enhancing Your Career. Through this new interdisciplinary field, she will reveal how a manager’s decision-making is affected by complex human networks.

Human networks, if not properly managed, can have unintended consequences for how we lead others. Therefore, becoming adept at managing networks will have significant and favourable impact for governance as well as identifying and nurturing innovation. The workshop addresses individual development to help women learn to identify the structure of their networks.
