Personal stories about staff exchange

What an incredible three days of learning, sharing and meaningful exchange. I had the privilege of immersing myself in one of Europe’s top business schools, gaining insights not only into innovative HR practices, but also into the broader business model of a world-class academic institution. Understanding how Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University operates – its governance model, funding structures, international strategy, and institutional dynamics – was deeply enriching. As someone working at the intersection of law, management and HR, this experience helped me see higher education through a more strategic and global lens.

Nuno Novo Ramos, Senior Manager, Nova School of Business and Economics

I had the privilege of engaging in a staff mobility project at ESMT Berlin, where colleagues curated an enriching week-long program. This experience allowed me to delve into strategies for enhancing student survey participation through behavioral science and digital tools. Their insights significantly broadened my understanding of effective survey strategies, communication, and student engagement, aiding in the creation of a roadmap for RSM improvement. The successful completion of this project was largely due to the meticulous preparation and support from RSM's International Relations Office. I am especially thankful to its manager, whose unwavering support was instrumental in achieving this success.

Samuel Talla, Assistant Business Intelligence, Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University

My Erasmus staff exchange to Rotterdam School of Management was an amazing experience. The International Relations Office gave me such a warm and friendly welcome, while showing me the Erasmus University Campus. She really went out of her way to make me feel welcomed and appreciated, which made the whole week even more enjoyable.
