About the speaker

Professor Ed Brinksma served as Chairman of the Executive Board of Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2020 to 2024, leading the university’s strategy, policy, internationalisation, and external relations. Earlier in his career, he was President of Hamburg University of Technology and Rector Magnificus of the University of Twente. With decades of leadership experience in higher education, Professor Brinksma is recognised for his vision on innovation and international collaboration.
