Giovanni (Gio) Cocco is a Senior Lecturer for the Finance Department at Rotterdam School of Management (Erasmus University Rotterdam). He previously worked as a Lecturer at Tilburg School of Economics and Management and as a Post-Doc researcher at Erasmus School of Economics.
Outside academia, Gio worked as a Senior Research Associate for Ares Management.
He earned a Ph.D. in Finance from Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His research interests include corporate finance, incentives, market microstructure and private equity. You can find his personal website at www.giococco.com.
