Job description
The Programme Manager will be the primary point of contact for students after they have registered for our Online Master programmes. This role is essential in ensuring that students have a seamless and enriching experience throughout their academic journey. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, organised, tech-savvy, and passionate about student experience and success. As this is a fully online programme, all communication with students will be conducted virtually.
The Programme Manager will be part of our Online Masters team preparing to launch two new Online Master programmes. This position reports to the Associate Director of the online master's programmes.
Your daily activities and responsibilities include:
- Serve as the main point of contact for students, addressing their queries and concerns promptly.
- Provide guidance and support to students throughout their studies.
- Coordinate with faculty and programme management to resolve student issues.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance student engagement and satisfaction.
- Monitor student progress and provide proactive support to ensure academic success.
- Organise and facilitate virtual events and workshops to foster a sense of community.
- Build and strengthen the student community through various initiatives and activities.
- Assist students with technical issues related to the online learning platform and other technical aspects.
- Collaborate with colleagues from programme management, IT, admissions, and the registrar, among others.
Job requirements
- At least three years of working experience with coordination of (educational) Programmes
- Experience in student services or similar role.
- Customer friendly, calm and proactive.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
- Proficient in Microsoft office 365, and CANVAS or other similar learning platform desirable
- Ability to take initiative
- Ability to work well independently and as a team player in a global and virtual environment
- Ability to multi-task and to work with a globally and culturally diverse body of internal and external stakeholders
- Flexibility and willingness to work outside of standard business hours
- Ability to think critically to make timely decisions
Preferably you also have
- The ability to collaborate effectively with others on a common goal, keeping the student experience at the forefront.
- Experience with Online Masters/education and a true believer of this vision of next step higher education
