Dr Moulaï’s work, Artificial Intelligence for REAL Human workers, summarises her research since her MSCA fellowship and grant started in September 2021. She has been working to bring new understanding of AI in the workplace from three perspectives: identity, mutual AI-humans constitution, and professional roles. The aim is to better support the responsible management of human-AI interactions at work.
Dr Moulaï, a post-doc researcher in RSM’s department of Business-Society Management was invited to submit her scientific poster presenting her research findings and their impact. She was shortlisted by the European Commission to the international conference in Leiden to take part in the MSCA Satellite ESOF poster competition, when she and the other successful MSCA fellows presented their latest research findings and impacts to an audience of more than 100. Her work was noted as being ‘impactful’, ‘fascinating’, and ‘a very captivating delivery […] by making examples that triggered my interest’.
The gold medal went to Dr Ghizlane Choukrani for her work on nanoparticle-mediated targeted cancer immunotherapy. Silver was awarded to Dr James Behan for his work on biogenic nanoparticles prepared from bacterial biofilms for electrocatalysis, and the bronze medal went to Dr Kamila Moulaï for her work on the implications of the implementation of AI for real human workers.
The three winners were publicly congratulated by Sybille Luhmann, policy officer for the European Commission at the gala, where they were presented with their medals and prizes.
