Leadership is an integral part of the RSM MBA in the form of Personal Leadership Development (PLD). In every class, assignment, and project, the programme incorporates elements of leadership development, motivating students to apply theoretical concepts in practical, real-world scenarios. Students work regularly with coaches as individuals and teams for direct insights into their growth and development. PLD is comprehensively integrated throughout the entire MBA to increase self-awareness and enhance critical interpersonal skills that are key success during the MBA and in post-graduate employment.

The RSM MBA places a strong emphasis on collaboration. Students often complete group assignments, including presentations and papers, and are encouraged to step out of their comfort zone through immersive learning experiences that are offered during the MBA year.

The MBA aims to give students a well-rounded understanding of the business world, including emerging technologies like AI. Professors regularly incorporate real-world examples into the classroom to enhance student exposure to new ideas. Leveraging new AI tools is also encouraged in several classes related to analytics and management science.

The MBA also includes Summer School, which is a two-week series of workshops and discussions facilitated by RSM faculty and leading guest speakers from around the globe. The Summer School master classes delve deeper into topical business areas like AI, geopolitics, DEI, and more.

The MBA elective portfolio is also updated each year to reflect new business realities. Recent courses include New Marketing Strategy for the AI Age and GenAI and the Global Economy: Disruption, Risk, and Opportunity.
