Each year, we host several international conferences with speakers and discussants from a wide variety of schools and locations. The 10th Professional Asset Management Conference will place on June 12 and 13, 2023 while the 10th Erasmus Liquidity Conference will take place in Fall 2023.
Seminars
Our weekly seminar series, organized jointly with the Erasmus School of Economics, features distinguished speakers from top international schools. In addition there is a brown bag seminar series, with mostly internal speakers and an econometrics seminar, covering financial econometrics. Coordinators of the Erasmus Finance Seminar are Mikael Paaso and Guosong Xu.
PhD Defences
The RSM Finance Department delivers about three to five PhD graduates per year. Formal defenses are public events, held in the Promotiezaal of Erasmus University. At the ceremony the candidate gives a brief presentation of the PhD thesis, followed by Q&A of the committee.
