Conference: local responses to forced displacement
Do you work in refugee crisis management? Are you looking to collaborate with others in the field?
Join the conference Facing grand challenges: local responses to forced displacement on Thursday 28 March 2019, organised by the Centre of Excellence in Public Safety Management (CESAM) at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM).
For thousands of people, a safe haven and a place to call home is not a given. Global forced displacement is an immense challenge in need of international collaboration.
At the conference, you will join a platform for discussion with your peers about the pressing issues experienced by a variety of localities, the actors and outcomes involved. In turn, these shared experiences may allow participants to identify possible solutions. The conference also aims to highlight the importance of stronger bonds between practitioners, government and academia.
