RSM premier sponsor of US$25,000 MBA scholarship contest of The Economist

Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) is a proud sponsor of the Brightest Mind MBA Scholarship Contest run by The Economist. For the second time, the Economist Group is organising the contest; giving prospective MBA students the opportunity to win a US$25,000 scholarship to enrol in MBA programmes at a selection of the world’s leading business schools, including RSM.

Young and experienced professionals who want to boost their careers with an MBA programme, can apply for the US$25,000 Brightest Minds MBA Scholarship Contest, offered by the Economist Group.

“By being involved in this contest, RSM and The Economist are joining forces to give exposure to the MBA as a degree,” says Maryke Luijendijk-Steenkamp, Director MBA Marketing & Admissions at RSM.

Earlier this year, the first edition of the contest attracted more than 4,500 entrants. Until October, prospective MBA or EMBA students worldwide can apply and the one who scores the highest on The Economist GMAT Tutor simulation test wins. Similar to the actual GMAT, the exam utilises adaptive technology to adjust the difficulty level to the participant’s ability. The winning student will be awarded the $25,000 scholarship, which they can put toward a full-time MBA or an executive MBA programme at a select number of top business schools.

“As the RSM MBA application deadlines are fast approaching, we hope that this contest will enable some more prospects to get into contact with RSM” continues Maryke Luijendijk-Steenkamp.

RSM’s English-taught MBA programmes are high-ranked and internationally oriented for participants who have or aspire a global career in business. The contest closes on Friday 31 October, 2014.  The winner will be announced in November 2014.
