CESAM and her partners have submitted an application to the Erasmus+ Knowledge Alliance Programme, (KA2). Knowledge Alliances are cross-sector partnerships between higher education institutions and enterprises. Together, they promote creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship by offering innovative, multidisciplinary learning approaches and qualifications. Our application on International Security Management has been selected for EU-cofunding. Out of 188 applications, 16 have been selected, including two Dutch (University of Groningen and the Erasmus University Rotterdam). Projects for Knowledge Alliances fall under the Central Actions of Erasmus +. The European Commission manages these actions through the EAC Executive Agency in Brussels. The start date of the project is January 1st 2017 and has a duration of three years.
