Caroline Oosterbaan is member of the Executive Committee of NIBC and Head of Corporate Banking Products. In this role, Caroline is responsible for Leveraged Finance, Structured Finance, Mezzanine & Equity, Distribution, Corporate Finance & Capital Markets in NIBC’s core markets The Netherlands, Germany and the UK. Prior to this, Caroline headed the Corporate Sectors - Food, Agriculture & Retail, Industries & Manufacturing and Technology, Media & Services - and M&A and was a Member of the Management Team Corporate Banking. Caroline joined the bank in 2013 as Head of M&A.
Caroline has broad experience in Banking, Corporate finance, Strategy consulting and entrepreneurship. Caroline started her career with ABN AMRO in Investment Banking. She gained experience in international M&A, working on a broad range of European transactions. Caroline continued her career in Strategy consulting at OC&C Strategy Consultants (now Parthenon EY). Later, Caroline set up the Finance division of de Nederlandse Interim Group, which was sold to DPA Group in 2011.
Caroline is Supervisory board member of Westland Kaas, member ‘Raad van Toezicht’ Cultuur+Financiering and member of the Advisory Board of the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM).
Caroline studied Business Economics, specializing in Corporate Finance, at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. She is married and has three children.
