Are you a Senior Energy Professional? Have you  worked for fifteen plus years in this all-important sector?

On 10 October we will be co-hosting Women Leading the Energy Transition 2025 with 75inQ, under the theme Navigating Rapids.

Taking place at Erasmus University Rotterdam, this conference invites participants to explore what it means to steer through the swirling currents of transformation, resistance, and renewal.

The chaos and clarity of water

Together, we will delve into the metaphor of water — its chaos and its clarity — as we chart courses through complexity, confront opposing forces, and discover new ways to move forward, even when the tide is against us.

Join us as we embrace the art of navigating the rapids — with courage, insight, and connection.

Also mark your diary for an event in the first quarter of 2026, that puts the spotlight on Women in Clean Energy. Taking impetus from the theme Exploring Mars With Venus, it will take place on 13 March in The Hague.

Both the October and upcoming 2026 event, along with the Women in Electricity Charging Elektra event in Arnhem this past May, are part of Stroomversnelling. Stroomversnelling is a collaboration between knowledge organisations Rotterdam School of Management (Erasmus University) and the Erasmus Centre for Women and Organisations, in combination with social organisations Stichting 75inQ and Stichting VHTO, and energy company Joulz B.V., with support from the European Union.

More information

Erasmus Centre for Women and Organisations (ECWO) is committed to fostering inclusion. Our founding purpose in 2014 was to empower women and to create a level playing field by building communities for organisational change. Today, ECWO has expanded its perspective to embrace a wider vision of a world of inclusive prosperity. Our new mission is to create a sense of belonging for everyone within organisations through diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), anchored in social safety. We strive for settings where everyone feels valued, respected and supported. We conduct research and produce evidence-led educational programmes, events, coaching, advocacy, and advisory services. We stay true to our roots, and we have evolved to recognise that achieving true inclusion and equity requires encompassing all, regardless of gender or identity.
