I am an associate professor of Organizational Behavior at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
As a researcher, my main research interest is in collaboration across boundaries – for example, bridging cognitive boundaries within diverse teams, bridging geographical and cultural boundaries within globally dispersed teams, and bridging structural boundaries within complex social systems and networks. My work has been published in leading academic journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Organisation Science, Journal of Applied Psychology, Organisational Behaviour and Human Decision Processes, and Journal of Management Studies.
As an educator, I teach on topics surrounding Organisational Behaviour, Teams, Leadership, and Social Networks across in RSM’s Bachelor, Master, Full-time MBA, Executive MBA, and Executive Education programs.

Toby Goedbloed is a seasoned Program Manager at Google with 11 years of experience, leading Scaled Partner Sales in Northern Europe. He oversees cross-functional, international teams driving partner sales across multiple countries. With nearly two decades of experience as a freelance Creator, Trainer, and Speaker, Toby brings extensive expertise to his roles. As a former Board Member of the Erasmus Alumni Club and an alumnus of RSM, Toby holds a B.Sc. in International Business Administration and an M.Sc. in Marketing Management/Entrepreneurship & New Business Venturing. 

Marc Saris completed his BSc in International Business Administration and MSc in Innovation Management at Rotterdam School of Management. His career began at Royal Dutch Shell, igniting a passion for negotiation, which he further developed at The Gap Partnership and NPM Capital. In 2022, he co-founded Impact Negotiation Group, a consultancy that helps its clients with negotiation challenges and provides negotiation training. He views negotiation as one of the most essential skills one can have in any type of career, as everyone negotiates every single day. Marc is dedicated to contributing to the field of negotiation and sharing his knowledge. 

As an RSM alumnus himself (2016 MSc Global Business & Sustainability), Jelmer loves to share with fellow alumni something he dearly missed himself during his studies: valuable & accessible communication skills. Besides his own business in public speaking & negotiation workshops since 2018 (PresentThing.nl), he has co-built and advised many other companies in big negotiations. He proudly describes himself as a 'Negotiation Nerd'.  

Bastiaan Bless graduated at RSM in 2010 with a Msc in Global Business & Stakeholder Management. Hereafter, he has started his career working at BMW Group due to his passion for their motorcycles. After several years in different roles he made a pivot towards another strong brand in mobility and consumer durables - Royal Gazelle. Gaining experience and building his expertise in multi-channel marketing and sales, customer experience and organisational change. Currently working for CCV and helping them making the transition of how they sell their payment solutions.  

He is aiming for sustainable solutions and inspiring others on the way. Therefore, he will share his insights and learnings on keeping your career path flexible, fun and future proof. 

Thomas Wouters has a solid background in finance and strategy, with experience across a range of industries before facing a significant career challenge with the bankruptcy of his business in 2018. This tough period taught him the real value of resilience and adaptability, shaping his approach to career changes. Moving forward, Thomas applied these lessons, showing a practical ability to navigate through ups and downs and pivot effectively. His journey is a testament to the power of embracing change and finding opportunities in the face of adversity. 

Blanca Vergara is an award-winning executive coach specialized in female leaders. She holds two master’s degrees (An MBA and a Master's Degree in Information Systems) and has a decades-long career as a senior executive in high tech. She is the author of Women Work Wonders and One Couple Two Careers. 

In the first nine years of my career, she was part of the Business Restructuring team at PwC. As an experienced restructuring professional she worked with various shareholders, lender syndicates, and C-level management in complex (inter)national restructuring files. She then pivoted in her career by becoming a Senior Manager Community Program also at PwC. As a manager of our Community Program she is responsible for our network of impact-first organizations and connecting them with our professionals.  

Ornela Cianciarelli is an experienced speaker, trainer, and facilitator specializing in Agile Leadership, Psychological Safety, and Equity and Inclusion. With a background in IT innovation, Agile transformation and Coaching at Unilever, Ornela has traveled the globe, empowering leaders to create inclusive environments.
