Share your valuable experience – become a student ambassador for RSM

RSM provides an exciting opportunity to current Dutch and international IBA students to become ambassadors to share their RSM experiences with prospective students.

Student Ambassadors represent their programme and inform prospective students:

  • During online information sessions
  • During Open Days at university
  • During parent, student and counselor visits at our university
  • At events or secondary school visits
  • Through Unibuddy, Zoom & WhatsApp
    • Represent RSM on our social media platforms

Benefits for you:

  • Soft skills and presentation skills training
  • Possibility to learn some social media skills
  • Join a community of fellow ambassadors
  • Work experience for your CV
  • Flexibility to combine this with another job
  • Certificate of recognition*
  • Give back to the RSM community

We know that prospective students rely heavily on the advice and experiences of current students – hence, your job as an ambassador can really make a difference! We truly count on you and we work together as a team!

*You will only receive this certificate if you participate in at least 90% of the mandatory activities.

  • You must be an enrolled RSM IBA student in September 2024.
  • You are available for the entire academic year 2024-2025.
  • You are enthusiastic and have good social skills.
  • You are willing to communicate with prospective students via WhatsApp and our digital peer-to-peer platform, Unibuddy. This means you may have to spend approximately 15 min a day on Unibuddy, even during a busy period.
  • You are not shy in approaching prospective students to offer them information at the open days.
  • You are responsible and reliable when you carry out your tasks.
  • You have no problem speaking to large groups of people and holding presentations.
  • You are willing to respond to short-notice requests about campus tours and school visits.
  • You respond quickly to e-mails and are well-organized.
  • You are willing to prioritize Ambassador work over other extracurricular activities/side-jobs that you undertake.
  • Since we need to arrange a contract for you, you must be in the possession of a Burgerservicenummer (BSN) for the entire year 2024-2025 (which means registering your address with the municipality) and you must acquire a Dutch basic health insurance* which is required by Dutch law if you have a working contract. You have to make the arrangements for the insurance yourself.

*Please note that there is a subsidy to help you cover the costs of your health insurance, but you must be living in the Netherlands when your contract starts in order to apply for it.
