A leadership conversation grounded in experience, research and real-world impact

This online session offers a rare opportunity to explore leadership from two complementary vantage points.

  • From the boardroom to societal impact
Fleur Rieter brings the perspective of a senior executive and supervisory board leader. She will share how leaders navigate complexity, risk and responsibility at the highest levels of decision-making, and what it takes to lead with credibility and long-term impact in demanding roles.
  • From research to leadership practice
Dr Sofya Isaakyan offers an academic lens grounded in research on leadership development, confidence and voice. Drawing on her work at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM), she will explore how leaders build influence, speak up effectively and create environments where others can thrive.

Together, Fleur and Sofya will reflect on how leadership identity evolves, how research strengthens executive judgement, and how learning at EMBA level supports leaders who want to remain relevant, reflective and impactful.

You will also hear from Erik Roelofsen, EMBA Academic Director, on the philosophy behind the programme, and Caroline Angle, Admissions Manager, who will provide practical guidance on whether the RSM Executive MBA fits your professional goals and personal context.

Expect a focused, engaging session that speaks directly to the realities of senior leadership.
