Event history

With this launch of the first-ever ETA conference in the Benelux region, the RSM team of faculty and Executive MBA 2026 students are excited to host investors, business owners, and search fund entrepreneurs to help shape the future of ETA.  Responding to the growing demand for business successors in the Netherlands and Europe, this event reflects broader trends in succession planning and raises entrepreneurial interest. 

As an attendee, you gain insights into how to structure a search, transition into the role of CEO, navigate the first 100 days, and master valuation and due diligence. Additionally, you forge valuable connections with peers, investors and potential sellers. 

The first event of its kind in the Benelux region, the RSM ETA conference demonstrates RSM’s commitment to driving entrepreneurial growth and to positioning Rotterdam as a hub for ETA leadership throughout Europe.

Format: This is a day-long event. An exciting keynote speech kicks off the day, followed by two panel sessions in the morning, after which, you enjoy a networking lunch. In the afternoon, the focus turns to the more nuanced aspects of the ETA journey through breakout sessions. The day wraps up with a networking happy hour.
