Conference hosted by the Erasmus Platform for Sustainable Value Creation

Join us as we explore the financial sector’s fundamental shift to encompass a broader understanding of long-term value creation and risk management.

With increasing recognition of the interconnectedness of financial performance and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors, we’re starting a series of annual conferences focusing on nature-aligned finance.

We are the Erasmus Platform for Sustainable Value Creation, and we aim for a more sustainable financial sector through research, co-creation and meaningful debate.

You’re invited to our first conference on Thursday, 19 June at Erasmus University, Rotterdam. It’s free to attend, but places are limited so please register to reserve your seat. The event concludes with a networking reception.

Aligning finance with nature goals

Ten years after the Paris Agreement provided impetus to align finance with climate goals, this conference aims to start a new conversation on aligning finance with nature goals to implement the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. While biodiversity loss together with climate change pose rising risks to the economic and financial system – and to society at large – preserving and restoring nature is the key to long-term economic and financial resilience.

Join us in Rotterdam to meet and discuss the future of nature-aligned finance with policymakers, industry leaders and world-class researchers. We’ll be featuring the latest research, and discussions and presentations from thought leaders, including:
