Lyanne van Dijk, alumna of the RSM MSc Supply Chain Management programme, has received the Material Handling Thesis Award for 2017 for her thesis 'Next generation parking, the performance of compact automated parking systems', supervised by PhD Candidate Masoud Mirzaei of RSM. Fellow alumna Julia Stelzig was the runner-up with her thesis, supervised by PhD Candidate Arpan Rijal. Prof. René de Koster of RSM was a jury member for the event.
