Henk de Vries, Professor of Standardisation Management at the Department of Technology and Operations Management at RSM, wrote an article about changing the colours of the Dutch flag. French President Macron has changed the colour scheme of the French tricolour. In the Netherlands, that would not have been allowed as the colours of the Dutch flag were established by Royal Decree in 1937. Changing the colours of the Dutch flag would be the result of public-private partnership. This will take time, but it can improve the quality of and support for the decision.
